A superb place to enjoy fine food in Tankerton, near Whitstable, The Royal prides itself on British-inspired dishes that are a cut above your usual pub grub.
You can savour superb light bites, sumptuous sandwiches, pub classics, gourmet burgers and deliciously fresh fish dishes. With a cracking Sunday lunch (available from noon until they are all gone), a selection of decadent desserts, and a children’s menu, The Royal is an ideal spot for a family meal.
Please note that dogs are not allowed in the restaurant area, but your four-legged friends are more than welcome in the bar area.
